I want to lose weight

There’s a millions articles on how to lose weight, but few offer what this article will offer you the way to achieve it. I want to lose weight, and having read many articles on diets and weight loss I am even more confused than when I started. Articles such as The fitness principles, Can home fitness getter better results faster, Life fitness treadmill and 2-Minute fitness are all valid articles.

However, after different levels of success with low carb, low calorie and low fat diets, I wanted to find some sort of weight loss program, which would lose the weight and keep it off. Over the years there are some tips that have paid off such as eating lots of vegetables and fruit, reducing alcohol intake to a minimum. Reducing alcohol intake had a tremendous effect, the less beer the less weight, but even that levels off. Stay away from junk food, again another good rule to live by but once you stay away from it and reap the initial benefits there isn’t much else. A female friend of mine started running, and what a difference as she progressed to about four to six miles a day. Certainly her weight dropped off, I thought, I used to run, I can do this. It always being prudent to ask your doctor before starting exercise, I went to see him.

On asking the question “Do you think I could start running again?” he replied “Good grief what do you want to do that for at your age”! Needless to say I was taken aback and then listened to twenty minutes on descriptions of non-impact exercise that could achieve the same but over a longer period. This led to calorie and alcohol unit counts for the next few weeks and in the end I wished I hadn’t asked the question.

Back to the drawing board…

Incidentally, do you know that exercise whilst reducing fat increases muscle mass and as a result starts to add weight, odd isn’t it? The one thing my doctor did impress on me was that it’s better to get the diet right before or at the same time as increasing exercise. I want to lose weight and so started scanning the web for ideas when I came across Fat Loss 4 idiots. They provide ten idiot-proof rules for dieting and fat loss.

They talk about the reasons for being overweight. They show you what works and what doesn’t. Best of all they provide an on-line diet generator. But enough of me singing their praises go and have a look for yourself. It’s at Fat Loss 4 idiots.

I want to lose weight, you want to lose weight go and have a look at Fat Loss 4 Idiots

Is a cute MySpace layout all-important?

What makes an Internet phenomenon?

A question probably asked by millions of people who have seen the advent of eBay, Google, youtube and the like. All of a sudden you notice that there is a new term being bandied about on the Internet MySpace. With a little research you can find out that it is a social networking website offering blogs, groups, music picture and videos. It’s interactive and can be described as a network of user submissions of all of the above. That it is headquartered in Santa Monica, California, is owned by News Corporation and employs over 300 staff.

Some maintain that it is currently the fourth most popular English language website and the sixth most popular website in any language. Although there are a number of similar websites MySpace seems to have gained more popularity that most. Why?

Because of its popularity it attracts more visitors than its contemporaries and is reported to have over one hundred and six million accounts. That is what I call an Internet phenomenon.

Who are these millions of account holders? They are musicians, filmmakers, celebrities, and comedians who upload songs, short films, and other work directly onto their profiles or they are simply Joe Public who publishes their personal blog which their friends and loved ones then log into and read. I personally have first hand experience of listening to a young and new band called “Fitzpain” you can find them by searching in MySpace Music.

However I digress, it would appear that now having a cute MySpace layout is all important if your going to impress. In order to achieve this you need to learn a few new skills. How to incorporate glitter graphics. How to upload your favourite music. You will need to learn all the new terms like what is meant by “pimping”, “friends” and “trains”. You will need to know how to change your layout, colours and theme. Eventually to create such an attractive and cute MySpace layout that people can’t help visiting it and recommending it to their friends.

As luck would have it there is a MySpace video tutorial guide for people like me that teaches all of this. You can find it at HERE. Not only does it teach you all of the information above but it also teaches a lot more. I have now satisfied myself that I now know what MySpace is and what constitutes a cute MySpace layout.

A review of “building your ebay business” website by Stephen Skyvington-Diplock

“What do I need to do to get started with ebay?“ That’s the question many people ask every day and many more will ask in the days to come. As an experienced user of the web and ebay it’s simple enough, but to the in-experienced or someone who is new to the web and new to ebay it can appear an insurmountable task.

In answer to this and many other questions about ebay, there is a site HERE that will help answer some of those questions. The first page worth a visit is called How To Get Started On eBay this will supply answers to some very basic questions. One snippet it gives you is that ebay is a 70 billion dollar a year industry giant, and they are dependent on entrepreneurs to make that business figure grow. Entrepreneurs mean people like you and me. In 2005, the number of people making money from working on ebay increased by 68%. As ebay researched, over 724,000 million people either make a full time or a supplemental income from working ebay. And another 1.5 million say that ebay gives them additional income throughout the year. I didn’t know any of that. Having read this page I then headed to the page covering Joining Ebay.

Another page I found particularly useful was the Anatomy of a Sale page. It breaks down the sale or the ebay auction life cycle into eight distinct steps. It starts with the first step Prospective buyer registers to sell. Before a seller can begin selling items on eBay they must register. The registration process is easy and only requires you to put in basic information about yourself.

Whilst I can’t cover all the pages on the website in this article, which means you will have to go there to read the rest, I can point you to another page of which I found particular interest The 9 Prohibited Items You Can't Sell. I had always believed that you could sell and buy anything on ebay. However, after reading this page I now appreciate that this is not true and there are a number of items, which may not be sold. After reading the page I thought how obvious this should have been to me and I was annoyed at myself for not realizing it in the first place.

I am going to finish this article by mentioning the following pages which when read one after the other may answer the questions you have if your going to be building your ebay business. These pages are What Shall I Sell on eBay followed by Finding Your Niche on eBay and the one that matters the most where to find product which is covered in Bargain Sources for Resale on Ebay. In addition to all that has been covered in this article there another seven pages of relevant information on this site that cover subjects of

5 steps to building you ebay business
Become an ebook PowerSeller
Don’t lose an ebay ebook sale
Selling on ebay UK
The ebay product challenge
The silent sales machine hiding on ebay

Information sites rarely come with what I call useful information, but I must confess I found this one extremely informative and useful.
